How will I go to Wengen ?
If you are not located in Europe, you will most probably fly to Switzerland.
The only useful close international airports are ZURICH and GENEVA. There is a train station inside these two airports and direct trains can bring you to BERN. Avoid the BERN airport (located at Belp between Bern and Thun) which is the nearest to your destination but which is very small and has no connections that would be efficient to reach Wengen.
From BERN you have to take a train to THUN-SPIEZ-INTERLAKEN OST. Change at INTERLAKEN OST which is the end-stop of the line.
Take a train to LAUTERBRUNNEN, also the end-stop of the line. Take care that the train leaving Interlaken Ost splits in two parts. The tail is usually going to Grindelwald (opposite to the mountain side on which Wengen is located). The head goes to LAUTERBRUNNEN on the same side of the mountain as Wengen. Check when you step inside the train.
When at LAUTERBRUNNEN, take the connecting rack-railway train to WENGEN which is the first stop unless somebody requests a special halt at Wengwald, a small place along the woods just before Wengen.
If you live in Europe and want to come to the meeting by car, please note that Wengen is not reachable by car and no combustion engine cars are allowed in Wengen. You will therefore have to leave your car at Lauterbrunnen and take the train to Wengen. There is a large parking at the Lauterbrunnen train station.

If the hotel knows your arrival time and you ask for it, it will send a small electric car to the train station to pick you up with your luggage. Otherwise, the hotel door is only 200m away from the train station. Follow the street along the train track in the upward direction. You will see the hotel park entrance at your left after about 150m.

Approximate travel and departure times are (please check):
From ZURICH AIRPORT to BERN (1 hour 20 minutes): There is a train departure every 30 minutes at h+13' or h+43'.
From GENEVA AIRPORT to BERN (1 hour 55 minutes): There is a train departure at h+01' or h+36'.
From BERN to INTERLAKEN-OST (53 minutes): Departure almost each half hour at h+04' or h+34', the last one providing a connection is 22h07.
From INTERLAKEN-OST to LAUTERBRUNNEN (20 minutes): There is a train departure every half hour from 6h00 AM until 19h05. Then there is a train every hour until 23h04 which is the last train!
From LAUTERBRUNNEN to WENGEN (14 minutes): There is a train departure every half hour from 6h25 AM until 19h37. Then there is a train every hour until 23h30 which is the last train!
